Want to see what all the fuss is about? BMX is one of Australia’s fastest growing sports, and the annual National Sign on Day is YOUR opportunity to come and try out this thrilling sport, free of charge!

WHAT HAPPENS AT NATIONAL SIGN ON DAY?
Once you arrive at your local club, you will meet with your hosts and sign all applicable forms, before organisers do a safety check on your bike. From there you can watch demonstrations and then participate in activities including:

A basic warm up
Basic BMX technique activities
Learn how to negotiate jumps, corners and the start hill
Games on track
Learning about BMX racing
Participate in a mini BMX race.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
First of all, you need to bring a bike. Otherwise please arrive with the following attire to ensure you can make the most of the day:

Long sleeve top
Long pants
Gloves
Socks
Shoes
Full face helmet
No bike or helmet?
No worries! Just make sure you contact your local club prior to their National Sign On Day as they may have spares you can use. Alternatively, they may also be holding other activities you can participate in without these items!

BMX is a sport that caters for everyone in the family, and we have members of all skill levels ranging from two-year-old mini-wheelers through to 60+ veterans riding on tracks around Australia every weekend.
